About Roatán, Honduras
Roatán is one of the Caribbean’s best kept secrets! The largest of the Bay Islands of Honduras, it is well known for its white sandy beaches, beautiful blue waters, miles of lush jungle, and the second largest barrier reef in the world.
In addition to the many water sports available on the island, visitors can cuddle with sloths at the Sloth Sanctuary or hang with monkeys at the Carambola Botanical Gardens.
The word “ROATÁN” is derived from a Mexican tongue meaning “ISLAND OF WOMEN” and the temperature on Roatán is around 80-86F on average. A perfect location for a winter retreat!
Where You Will Be Sleeping
There are 15 rooms at Camp Bay Lodge, two of which will be for your retreat staff. The remaining 13 rooms include:
- 2 Chalets, each with two separate rooms, with a queen or full sized bed and a shared bathroom.
- 7 single (or double) occupancy rooms with a single queen sized bed
- One single or double occupancy room with a king sized bed
- One double occupancy room with 2 single beds
Your Retreat Hosts
Adina Tovell
Adina is an Executive and Life Coach, Open-Water Scuba Instructor (OWSI), 200-hour RYT Yoga Instructor, and is unwaveringly committed to personal growth and development. Adina has been leading group workshops and trainings for over 25 years and is thrilled to be fulfilling a long-term dream of linking her passions for yoga, meditation, coaching, and underwater experiences to create an entirely new and unique transformational retreat.
Lisa Oplinger
Lisa is a 1200 hour Baptiste certified Yoga Instructor and 500 E-RYT that is passionate about sharing the tools of yoga and meditation as an access to healing and self discovery. She has over 25 years of teaching experience, has led many yoga teacher trainings, as well as personal wellness programs. A recently certified scuba diver, Lisa is thrilled to be exploring the innate mindfulness of scuba, in connection to yoga and meditation practices to provide participants with a truly groundbreaking retreat experience.
